Do I need to worry about Qatari customs and quarantine?
Qatar’s General Authority of Customs clears your shipment, while the Ministry of Municipality’s plant and animal quarantine controls what may enter — alcohol and pork are prohibited, and fresh or homemade food, seeds, plants and untreated wood packaging are restricted, with used-goods shipments liable to full physical inspection. We prepare a correct, itemised inventory and declaration so your shipment clears customs without delays.
What customs paperwork do I need for a move to or from Qatar?
Typically the an import customs declaration filed electronically through Qatar’s Al-Nadeeb single-window system (General Authority of Customs); first-time residents and returning citizens claim the used-household-goods duty exemption with an itemised inventory, ID and a sponsor no-objection letter together with your passport, visa and a full inventory.
