Climate-controlled storage in Prague with 24/7 camera surveillance, individual unit locks and GPS-tracked inventory. Short-term between origin and destination dates, or long-term over months. Personal-effects duty relief under EU Regulation 1186/2009 applies for non-EU imports stored before delivery.
Settling-In & Local Support
Bank account opening at ČSOB, KB or Česká spořitelna; Czech SIM; utility setup; school enrolment for kids; and the Cizinecká policie registration (within 30 days for EU citizens, 3 working days for non-EU residence permit holders).
Home Search Assistance
Apartment search and viewings in Prague, Brno or Ostrava with a Czech-speaking agent. We vet properties, attend viewings (in person or virtually), review the lease in English, and handle the deposit transfer. Average apartment-to-key timeline: 2–4 weeks.
Furniture Assembly & Home Setup
Disassembly at origin, transport, and reassembly at destination. Beds, wardrobes, IKEA flat-pack — we bring the tools. Appliance installation (washer/dryer hook-ups, oven) and TV wall-mounting available on Gold and Platinum packages.
Vehicle Transport Service
Car, motorcycle or bicycle shipping alongside your household goods. Door-to-door from any Czech address. Non-EU destinations include export customs paperwork and import declaration; Czech vehicle deregistration handled at request.

Common questions about a Flyto move
What’s the difference between Silver, Gold and Platinum?
Silver — one driver, basic carrying and A→B transport, best for box-only or small moves. Gold (most popular) — two to three professional movers, loading and unloading, furniture blankets, start-to-finish handling. Platinum — professional packers, all packing materials included, packing + unpacking, optional home setup.
Is moving insurance included in every package?
Standard transit insurance is included on every Flyto package (Silver, Gold, Platinum). For high-value belongings (art, instruments, electronics or designer furniture above ~€5,000) and overseas routes, we recommend optional all-risk cover with declared value. We quote both options up front.
Can I add services to my package after booking?
Yes. Packing, customs paperwork, secure storage, vehicle transport and home-setup add-ons can be added up to two weeks before the move date (subject to crew and storage availability). For urgent additions closer to the date, contact your coordinator directly.
How is my move price calculated?
Three main factors: volume (m³ or itemised inventory), distance (origin → destination, including any ferries or border crossings), and selected services (packing, storage, customs, vehicle transport, home setup). After we have your inventory and route, we send a tailored quote — typically within 24 hours of your enquiry.
Do you handle customs paperwork for moves outside the EU?
Yes. For non-EU destinations (UK after Brexit, Switzerland, Norway, USA, Canada), we prepare the T1 transit document, a detailed English-language inventory and the customs import declaration at destination. Personal-effects duty relief under EU Regulation 1186/2009 requires proof of residence change and at least 6 months prior ownership — we compile the supporting documents.
Do you offer storage in Czechia?
Yes — climate-controlled storage in Prague with 24/7 camera surveillance, individual unit locks and GPS-tracked inventory. Short-term (between origin and destination dates) or long-term (months to years). Insurance for stored goods is available on request.
How far in advance should I book my move?
Most international moves are booked 4–6 weeks ahead for European routes and 8–12 weeks ahead for overseas (sea container) shipments. Urgent moves can often be accommodated — contact us for current crew availability. Booking earlier secures preferred dates and locks in the quoted price.
