Belgium-specific support
EU customs-free moves
Belgium is a founding EU member (1957). Moves within the EU need no customs forms. For non-EU destinations (UK, Switzerland, Norway, USA, Canada) we prepare the T1 transit document and import declaration at destination.
Trilingual support
Our team speaks English, French and Dutch. We handle commune / gemeente address registration and coordinate with the Office des étrangers / Dienst Vreemdelingenzaken for residence permits.
Door-to-door across Belgium
Brussels, Antwerp, Ghent, Liège, Bruges, Charleroi, Namur — same-day local relocations in major cities and weekly long-distance trips across Wallonia and Flanders.
Secure storage
Climate-controlled storage with 24/7 surveillance, individual locks and GPS-tracked inventory. Short-term between dates or long-term over months. Optional all-risk insurance.
Settling-in support
We help with bank account opening at KBC, BNP Paribas Fortis or Belfius, registration with your chosen mutuelle / ziekenfonds (Mutualité chrétienne, Solidaris), and tax notifications with SPF Finances / FOD Financiën.
Vehicle transport
Door-to-door car and motorcycle transport across Europe. Cars and motorcycles have separate Belgian import rules and cannot move as personal effects — we coordinate the export declaration and import paperwork.

Common questions about a Flyto move
What’s the difference between Silver, Gold and Platinum?
Silver — one driver, basic carrying, A→B transport. Gold (most popular) — 2–3 professional movers, loading/unloading, furniture blankets. Platinum — professional packers, packing materials, packing + unpacking included.
Is moving insurance included in every package?
Standard transit insurance is included on every Flyto package. For high-value belongings (above ~€5,000) and overseas routes we recommend optional all-risk cover. We quote both options up front.
Do you handle customs paperwork for moves outside the EU?
Yes. For non-EU destinations (UK, Switzerland, Norway, USA, Canada) we prepare the T1 transit document, English-language inventory and customs import declaration. Personal-effects duty relief under EU Regulation 1186/2009 — we file the supporting documents.
Do you offer storage in Belgium?
Yes — secure climate-controlled storage with 24/7 surveillance, individual locks and GPS-tracked inventory. Short-term between origin and destination dates, or long-term over months. Insurance for stored goods available on request.
How far in advance should I book my move?
Most international moves are booked 4–6 weeks ahead for European routes and 8–12 weeks ahead for overseas (sea container) shipments. Urgent moves often accommodated — contact us for current availability.
Which Belgian cities do you serve?
Nationwide — Brussels/Bruxelles, Antwerpen/Anvers, Gent/Ghent, Liège, Bruges/Brugge, Charleroi, Namur, Leuven and every town in between, including the eastern German-speaking cantons. Same-day local relocations available in the major cities.
Do you help with commune / gemeente registration?
Yes. EU/EEA citizens must register at the local commune / gemeente within 8 days of arrival. Non-EU citizens need a visa or residence permit from the Office des étrangers / Dienst Vreemdelingenzaken first, then complete address registration. We coordinate appointments and prepare paperwork.
What languages do you speak?
Our Belgium team speaks English, French and Dutch. We can liaise with German-speaking communes in the eastern cantons via partners. Quotes, contracts and customs documents are all available in English.
